　　China Fire and Rescue College is located in Changping District, Beijing, covering an area of 381 acres, and is the only institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Public Security in China, under the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China. Its predecessor was the police academy of the Ministry of Public Security founded in 1978. Today, it has become a comprehensive college integrating undergraduate education, postgraduate education, vocational training and international cooperation.
