Although there is a repentance to make up for sins, but I don't know how to make up for it and save the heart of heaven, so I can only resign myself to fate and wait for punishment, and once I fell ill, I accidentally read the Wenchang Emperor's induction chapter, and saw a page in the book that read: "If someone commits fornication and evil deeds, he can later know and repent, do good deeds and make amends, and over time he will be able to eliminate sins and be blessed." For although the way of heaven is a disaster, it does not punish those who sincerely repent. After reading it repeatedly, he jumped up happily and said to himself with great joy: "Because I have committed the sin of fornication before, I am often afraid that God will suddenly bring disaster and punishment." Fortunately, I regret it, and I can see the induction chapter in the illness, so I can repent and make amends, and I don't have to be afraid anymore. From then on, he earnestly repented before God, vowed to reform, and did all good. Whenever he wrote, he often borrowed the teachings of sages to advise others. Especially for the abstinence from promiscuity, it is even more earnest to admonish it. After several years of this, he repented of his past mistakes and became more and more prominent. One year, he was finally selected to enter the Taixue from the provincial school. Later, due to his son's nobility, he was appointed as an official and died at the age of more than ninety without illness.
